As Director of the Education Office at the Consulate General of Spain in Houston I was part of the staff of the Education Office at the Embassy of Spain in the United States. My responsibilities there included:

– the design, implementation and management of international education programs
– the institutional representation in diplomatic circles
– the preparation and/or supervision of documents, briefings, presentations, evaluations and other forms of working papers
– the organization of international meetings/conferences
– the design, implementation and management of Teacher Training programs
– the publications (both web- and paper-based)

Completed their initial Teacher Training program while serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Spanish.

Universidad de Zaragoza
English (Filología Inglesa). 1982-87

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature. This was a 5-year degree that included coursework on Spanish Language and Literature, Latin and Philosophy.

Additional activities: participated in Radio Universidad, a hands-on workshop on radio broadcasting.

Representative in the student council throughout my stay at the university.
